Be not simply good; be good for something.

This is essentially two separate sentences connected by a semicolon.
(You understood) = subject; Be = verb
Not simply = adverbs that modify "be"
Good = object of the sentence

I would like to see you change a couple of sentences to add extra lines for choices--otherwise they just keep guessing...
